I am now in the BI campus typing this entry, and coz I forgot to bring my travel adaptor, there is no way my lappy's batt can last me till 4pm, so I have to use the sch's net which has no photos of my trip.

To start off, it was quite a scene at Swensen's on the 6th. Got a whole room to ourselves, with all my family and friends. Overwhelming response. Didnt expect to see pig there, but yet she appeared with the towel that I liked...haha...too bad, I didnt bring it here.

According to calculations, we did not see and feel any sun's rays for more than 12 hours...it was practically dark for the 12hours flight, so I just slept and slept and slept.
When we arrived at Oslo, it was finally bright, but the weather was still cooling, nothing that we've experienced in Singapore before. WOOHOO!!!! The cool weather, but then after about 2 weeks here, it gets a little irritating that you cannot leave your room without a jacket and no shorts for 5 months.
Anw, the hostel was a little disappointing and but it does have a good view. Will post up the photos next time...(One entry with photos and nothing else)

Everything is expensive here in Norway. Even a bus trip of about 6 stops cost 6SGD...Damn ex lah...but the good thing is that, with one ticket, you can travel unlimitedly within an hour. But I finally got the student pass, so it's unlimited travels for a month for 430kroners, about 100plus SGD ba.

Now, to my Europe trip.
Frankfurt's really a very nice place...very peaceful and everywhere is easy to get to(probably due to the location of our hotel). Everything was by the main river and the river is just a 10min walk from our hotel.
*Just a little note: If any of you are intending to come to Europe for a trip, dun ever believe what they say in the websites. When they say 5min walk, take it as a 15min walk.

The river banks has many Victorian style buildings, which I love. And I was in awe everytime I see one. Always very amazed by how pretty these buildings are..and again, photos later.
And we went to the zoo, the monkeys or orang utans are really cute. There's one who would carry a stack of hay around, dunno for what also.

Oh ya, and the hotel we stayed at is really cheap and good. It's called Hotel Europa.

Next on the itinerary, Barcelona. Did not really enjoy Barcelona, probably becoz of the condition of the hostel. (After being pampered at Europa). No breakfast and no private bathroom. And to add on, the bed is creaky...haha
Well, Barcelona seems to have many nice places, but apparently, we did not visit all of them, coz we were only there for 1.5 days, not really enough to visit the most beautiful places....went to the more famous ones though. And the best thing, we did not even know that we are at that place already. But we know one thing for sure, we walked to the beach. And Amanda spotted 2 topless ladies, but apparently, she wasnt satisfied with her find, coz she claimed they were too small. Haha....

Then, it was the best part of the trip. Venice!!!!
Firstly, the flight we took was good, but expensive. Then we lived in a very very nice hotel. Venice Hotel Villa Dori. Though, it wasnt on the island of Venice, they provided shuttle service which was rather convenient, but at a price of 2.50euros per trip per head. The hotel was a surprise, oz it's really very nice and so romantic, and my 2 travelmates got a little bonus. The receptionist, who is quite handsome. On top of it, we got a little free porn on Italian TV. HAHAHA...
And that's when I found out new uses for the vegetables that we often eat.

Again, Venice is really very beautiful. Every photo just looks like a postcard. It looks exactly like what the pictures show. A must see for everyone who visits Italy. Really not regretting skipping Paris and going there, though Paris might be as beautiful, if not more.

I will let the pictures speak for themselves when I post them up.

Finally, our last stop, Milan. After Villa Dori, nothing seems to be as nice. The hotel we stayed at was okay, clean, but quite small. And we were living in 2 seperate rooms. Me and Missy Ong is one, and Jaya alone. Breakfast was rather pathetic as compared to the one we had in Europa.

It was a shock to see the fashion city of the world being so dead and quiet at like about 1pm in the day. Apparently, all the shops were closed till the 23rd Aug, or some even later. So disappointing, cannot feel the classy-ness of the city. But we did manage to visit a castle. However, it was as majestic as I would expect it to be. It's like wow, not WOW....

Alright, it's a long entry and I have to go and tok to my parents now....So, cya!
