Anw, a summary of what happened.
We had parties every night since last Saturday.
And Desiree had 5 surprises...hehe
1) Knocked on her door on the 25th Sept to wish her a happy bdae...
2) Made her dinner, and while we were preparing dinner, she was convinced that we were at REMA 1000 buying stuffs...
3) We surprised her with a cake.
4)We surprised her the next day, saying that we still have cake left.
5) We surprised her last night that there's still cake left....
Wahaha....lame right, I know, but it's fun!!!
And the next big thing that happened this week - I got a contract to Sogn Student Village.
It's another student hostel and it has internet and the contract starts from mid-oct....
So we went to the place to kpo and see see look look....
It is so pretty...much prettier than Bjerke...haha...and we cannot help but think about much better it could have been....but what I hate about it is that you have to share the toilet with other 5 or 6 pple....errrrr...
I dislike that.

Hehe, finally got time to sit down and update my blog....was busy rushing through the IT assignment the past few days and attending parties....It was Duanwei's on Sat and then Cindy's and Desiree's cum Minghui's party on Sunday...So busy, or I'm popular? Or I just anyhow crash? Party crasher???? Haha...
Anw, Duanwei's party was really fun, just that I got so bloated from all the food and drinks,coz Missy and I were busy eating the chocolates...no one was eating, so why waste it, right?Ooops...drinks...Promised my mum not to drink, but....hehe...a little bit nia....should be fine....
Well, he was very funny, coz he sang a song, Chi Xin Jue Dui...quite nice, everyone was enjoying it...but dunno why, he started with a high key...so the chorus became almost like soprano...then he said....'Okay, it's too high..."
HAHAHA....so funny....but he was really sporting, he really sang~~~
Then we played this number game and I actually knew 47 is a prime number, and I still went and clap....Arghh...but heng, dun need forfeit....haha...

I say - When you know yourself well, you are still not ready for relationships. Coz of the fact that human relationships changes.
Well, watever I mentioned in my blog does not mean anything to anyone. Coz it only matters to me. When I read back my blog, it just reminds me what I thought about on this day and this time.
Everything starts from zero now, since there's no point in explaining anyhting, since it only makes things worse.
I feel like I am driving on the expressway.
I dunno what to blog about anymore.
I still prefer living in the virtual world. At least, there is nothing to be unhappy about, coz the people you meet are not real, the things you do will not affect others. And you do not have to report to others about your happenings, do not have to go thru emotional changes.

Finally showed my parents how my room looks like, and of coz with the pretty curtains that Mummy picked out for me, my room looked even better! Of coz, I had my father's good genes to make use of what I have to make the curtain even nicer...hehe.

I received my box of love on Saturday.
It came as a surprise as I didnt expect it to come that quickly, thought it might come in on Monday instead...hehe, but the service is so efficient!!! Pretty amazed by the speed. Mummy sent it out on Wed and Ta Dah!!!

Hmm, the box included 4 bottles of moisturizer, 2 tubes of masque, 2 tubes of Sebo cream, packets of my favorite biscuits, my jacket, belt, my bottle, my sling bag, earphones, my discs, snickers, mentos, my fave canned food,curtains and hooks,my hair treatment,my luo han guo infusion, my medicine and finally, my instant noodles....hehe...

Right, finally went to the sculpture park last friday!!! Phew!! Not another wasted day.
Since I had school on Friday morning, my dearest missy and Jaya had to prepare lunch for me...So sweet of them, but I had to do the dishes when I got back, but I dun mind...hehe, I got good food. The only sad thing about it was, my first bite was a slice of onion...eerrrrkkk....

It's called Vigeland Sculpture Park and all the sculptures are built single-handed by this guy called Gustav Vigeland. Apparently, he has a thing for family ties coz all the sculptures has one thing or two to do with family. Watch the space below~~

Finally, got it from missy's ex roommate...haha...the smelly neighbour,as we call him.
Anyway, I got it when no one's online...so the only people I was talking to was missy and jaya..
And the most ridiculous thing, I was webcam-ing Jaya...Gosh, we are neighbours and we still webcam~~~
This was taken on Monday, when missy and Jaya went for their class. This was taken in Grorud, the terminal for Bus 31. I went there to take a look at the only pet shop that I've spotted so far, and it is so damn small....just about the size of the Pet's Station in Causeway Point~~~OMG.
Went to the shopping centre there as well, nothing much, but they sell alot of old stuffs...
This was how misty, foggy or blurry it looked when I woke up one day, but I cant rmb what day is it...think it's yesterday or when...But luckily, it wasnt very cold, it's just foggy.
Hee, not forgetting to snap a few pictures even when we are walking to RIMI....haha, walked all the way there to get toilet rolls, coz the Euro Shopper brand is cheaper and it's better.
RIMI, MENY and ICA has Euro Shopper brand, which is something like their house brand, while KIWI and REMA 1000 has First Price. But Euro Shopper still cheaper. And the most important thing, they have English instructions!!! We desperately need that lah! So deprived of English words on the packaging of anything and everything.

Anyway, the seasoning was good,but it was just dark soy sauce and kanel...dunno what is it..but it smells good...haha...
The thing is,I koped from the kitchen and it's expired...haha.
I used to complain that Daddy will add any ingredient to cook any dish, but after coming here, I think I am like him...ooops~~~
Just come up with funny things to cook, coz we've totally run out of ideas..But luckily, everything turned out fine...haha

Ha, abit wuliao right, I know, but think again, will you feel left out? Put it in simpler terms, if you whole class has improved and you are the only one who havent, aint it sad? Do you feel sad, or you will think, I dont care. I love my grades this way.
And this qns set me thinking for one whole afternoon. Haha, I still remembered we were walking down the quiet street of Milan and I popped up this qns. Hehe...

Another thing about expectations. Maybe we will lead a happier life without expectations. Was rewatching Eight Below yesterday and one guy said, "it's not what you know that's exciting, it's what you dont that is exciting." So true, if you are expecting something to happen and it really does, then it is no longer exciting. But if you expect it to happen and it does not, you will feel very very sad. So, I always tell myself not to expect. However, things are easier said than done. Somehow, you will just start expecting something and then get yourself disappointed when it's not up to your expectation. I guess life's like that.
Alright, back to yesterday. I watched about 4.5 movies. First on the list was the God of Gamblers, then Gu Huo Zai, then Bride and Prejudice, then Eight Below and then Miss Congeniality 2. And one episode of Seinfeld, which made me wanna watch FRIENDS more. hehe...
We were supposed to go to the Sculpture Park, but coz Jaya woke up at about 1plus, which is the official starting time of the lazy afternoons, we decided to continue watching movies and not go out.
The sculpture park was meant to be an activity on Friday, after my class, but Jaya came down with a fever, so we did not go. went shopping with Amanda in the end, but I left her after 1.5 hours to come back to school to talk to my mum. Finally the both of us really did some shopping, not just grocery shopping..Phew, we are still normal.
I think this shopping centre is called By-Porten. She wanted to buy her contact lens solution, which she spent 85Nok...whoo...damn expensive lah...but no choice~
I actually wanted to take a picture of the shopping centre, but this girl has to come into the picture and pose...arghh...my cam is slow, so there's plenty of time for her to pose.

And so, I left at 4pm. I still thought I will be early, who knows....I HAD TO TAKE THE WRONG TRAIN. Arghh...And the train was so squeezy, I had to stop 2 stops away from the interchange. Haiz, but anw, I still managed to find my way back to school...You can never get lost if you are near public transport...hehe... And I took a photo of the T-Bane Station, aka Train Station.

Okie, it was Thursday night and my party animal roomie wanted to go, so alot of them came to our room to discuss the details and Amanda wanted to go along, so she went down to prepare. Then Mun, the best 'persuador' I ever seen came and persuaded me to go...haha...so I went along...and drank beer~~~haha...Though I did drink in Venice, but that was like soooooooooo little....
On top of drinking, still learnt how to 'cai quan'...okay, sua gu, I know....
Anyway, drank quite abit...But not as much as Amanda, coz she's a better drinker...oops~~~ We shared one cup lah...
But the taste is nice...think it's better than those in Singapore, coz it smelt better~~hehe...and we got to know this Turkish gal, and we went to her room to chat till about 330am...woops~~~
And I went to Ikea with Desiree last Monday. I am close to the original one, but not so close yet...hehe..was supposed to go with Amanda as well, but she forgot that she had class on Monday...so me and Desiree had to go on our own..I do not wish to mention this is the number what visit to Ikea for Desiree, but it's my third...hehe

There are actually many different ideas as to how I am going to start this entry.
I need ideas before I can update...haha.
I am going to start with the one I think is the best.
As you read through different blogs, you will realize that different pple blog about diff things and you will also notice the things that interest you. If you are a photo person, you will nvr read a blog with chunks and chunks of words. Similarly, if you are not a photo person, you will not post lots and lots of photos. For me, I think I am balanced, but think I can get long winded, like now...haha
Anw, I forgot when, but me, Missy Ong and Jaya took the bus to RIMI (one of the supermarkets in Oslo) to buy a carton of Coke. Missy was really craving for Coke, and a carton was going for 79NOK. That's about 0.88SGD per can, well, I insisted that Singapore is selling a can at a cheaper price,but this is the cheapest we can find here, considering that a 500ml bottle costs about 3SGD.
Little did we know that we have to pay 24NOK for PANT. This is an additional charge for bottled drinks(think cans and bottles). You pay it first and you can bring it to some machines in some supermarkets to recycle them and get back the money. Very effective way to make Singaporeans bring these cans to recycle. Think Singapore should implement this. Anw, we did not know about this till 2days before and we were happily throwing our empty cans away. MONEY MONEY!!!! WE just threw away money. OMG. What a precious commodity here.
Went hill climbing last Friday and we went to pluck wild blue berries at the top of the mountain. It was quite fun, but it was tiring. I think the hill that we climbed has the same altitude as Bt Timah Hill, but it was more tiring coz there are no proper pathways like the ones we have in Bt Timah.

To add on, before this trip, we actually had practices near our hostel. We decided to go for a walk in the neighbourhood one night and TA DAH!
Before we know it, we lost our way. Lucky Jaya is good. Managed to walk through the dark roads and finally reached our beautiful hostel. It's good to be in a bad home than in no home at all. HAHAHA.
This was taken before we decided to take a different route back. We were trying to be smart. Come to think of it, I initiated it..OOOPS
We had another practice near school, BI (Bay-ee). It was supposed to be a river, but the portion near our school turned out to be rather manmade and we decided to walk down further to see if we could see something more natural and TADAH! We found it!
Remember the bus trip that I mentioned in the previous post? Got the photos from Missy and this is a photo that me and Desiree took at Snaroya - the terminal. It was very cold, and we decided to wear our hoods and take a "dodo" photo.
Come to think of it, life don't seem as boring as I described to my parents. Haha, I told them to send me SATC, Friends and also other mpgs in order to kill time in the night. But I think I am getting busier as days go by. Got some dramas from Kevin and Huiwen and they should be enough to last me 1month. And the best part, Missy finished Marley and Me already! To think I am still stuck at where I left off on the plane.
Went for this bus trip on Monday and the guide was really good. It was a fruitful trip as we got to see and hear the story behind the things that we see around Central Station.(Jernbanetorget) and National Theatre. Usually, we will just pass by these buildings,thinking that they are just some buildings without any history.
And we went to this road where you can see the entire port. Very beautiful place.
Doesn't this photo look as if the Mummy is bringing her kids out? The more I look at it, the more I think it looks like it. Just that the Mummy seems to love one child more than the other. HUMMPH!
And this is a picture of one part of the Oslo fjord. Wonder what are fjords really. Was talking to Desiree about it and she mentioned something about drowned glacier...hmmm, it will be nice if there's a glacier here. Then we continued to talk about our NZ trip. Then, we discovered that, we were at NZ at the same time!!! OMG, what a coincidence! She was with the Chan Brothers tour,while I was with the SA Tours. Haha, but we were there at the same time. And both of us do remember Fox Glacier...hehe
After about a month here, we finally saw the moon in Norway. This is the best photo of the moon and the houses, which Missy took. Although it is not as nice as the one I saw in Australia last time, I think most of you will agree that it is definitely more beautiful than the one we see in Singapore.
The one I saw in Australia was really beautiful. The orange moon just above the sea. OMG, it's magnificent! Too bad, I got no photo to show. Come on, there wasn't any digital cameras back then.
OHHHH, it's my official one month anniversary away from Singapore!!! Never have I left my beloved country for such a long time and needless to say, my lovely parents and my cute Elmo. He's just getting cuter and Daddy and Mummy's really loving him more as days goes by.
Guess what, they fed him dried baby abalone. Even I don't get this!!!
And his new brand of wet food costs 9.90 per can.OMG!!!
Maybe I shouldn't scrimp and save so much here.
Honestly speaking, I think I am adjusting to the prices here. Missy agrees too.( Don't ya?)
10NOK used to be expensive, but now, 10NOK is CHEAP!!!!
Snickers used to be expensive to me, coz it costs 11NOK in school, but I went to RIMI and saw them selling at 7.50NOK and I am like CHEAP!!!! But it is about $2.
I think I will think that everything is so cheap in Singapore when I return. Please, my dear friends, appreciate Singapore while you can. Seriously, the bus fare is really cheap in Singapore compared to here.
