My day started exactly 12 hours ago....
Woke up at almost 1240pm and now, it's 1240am..
Out of these 12 hours, almost 9 hours was spent outside...hurhur..and now, I am damn tired, but I am sooo happy and satisfied with all my purchases and gift...hurhur...
Before I start on anything else, I really have to pour my feelings out...
Wanted to blog before I went out todae, but blogger was taking a long time to load, hence I gave up....
Anyway, I was reading yesterday's Newpaper about this husky attacking a young girl at Sentosa...I was like uh-huh, uh-huh, correct, and then the last paragraph of the article left me with total disgust for the authorities.
"A dog may be ordered to be put down if it has attacked a person."
What rubbish is this? Putting the dog to sleep if it has attacked a person...
So what about those 'creatures' that are living amongst us that have attacked or ill-treated dogs and have only been fined?
For doing the same act, dogs have to die?
If you are the victim of the attack, your family feels sad for you, yes, definitely...
But if you are the owner of the dog which has to be put to sleep...what do you feel?
I think this is ultimate rubbish...
Just shows how selfish we are...
Anyway, it says MAY, so hopefully, there are not much cases of dogs being put to sleep coz of mild attacks...
Afterall, the owner is supposed to be held responsible for the dog's behaviour. If your dog attacks someone, YOU are supposed to be responsible.
Oh, talking about this...
I really hate kids who try to provoke dogs and then only to run off to their parents when the dogs starts barking at them. So irritating...or kids who tries to get the dog's attention by imitating their barks...duhhhh....some of the M***Y kids like to do this, and I am totally pissed off by them...
For goodness sake's, you cant even touch a dog, you want to get the dog's attention FOR WHAT????
Alright, what a long sidetrack..
Back to today.
The best shopping spree in recent months!
Was late in meeting rong and shuang...
(terribly sorry, girls!)
We first went to Bugis junction to meet rong's desperate buyer of the screen protector which costs $5,and then proceeded to shop for some clothes, coz my cousin's wedding coming...need to buy sth presentable...
But, din buy anything except for food...hurhur
Afterward, we went to the national library and I rmb an incident which I encountered during my II days....
I was walking towards the National Lib after work one evening, and when I passed by the lib, I overheard one guy saying to his friend...
"Eh, they say there's a lib around here, where ar?"
Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Right in front of you lor!
Returned some magazines and shuang tried to act chim by lending a chinese book after her failed mission of finding a 'porn' book...hurhur...(coz she was looking for a book in the ADULT FICTION section..)
Then we walked to Bencoolen to get my watch..YAY...
Halfway through our walk, we passed by the temple and went in to pray.Hehe, devoted Buddhists.
And I saw the watch that I liked! So happy!!! We attempted to find in other shops, but to no avail. Only one shop was selling...
And guess what, I saved SGD$53 for buying at Bencoolen.
I originally saw this watch at CWP, and the guy quoted me $100.
I almost couldnt believe it when I saw the price tag on the watch. It was $47!!!!!
OMG!
I was so happy about saving $53 that I couldnt stop mentioning it, and rong asked me to treat them to dinner...hahaha
Here's a peek at my new watch!
After that, we went to Burlington Sq for rong to get her NEW camera film and then we proceeded to Sunshine Plaza to get their toys. They spent quite alot there though...
The Cathay was next on the list and by this time, our legs were not really in coordination with our minds anymore. My mind was telling me to continue shopping, but the pair of legs were simply too tired to follow orders...hahah, so me and shuang took a short rest on the sofa in Grammophone while rong continued her spree.
Then, we went to PS to have our dinner and there we met some really inconsiderate in the really-too-small MOS Burger. Those people were sitting and chatting as if there were alot of empty seats in the restuarant when there wasnt. We stood there for some time and they still din get up...ARGHHHH. So we went to BK instead...WOOHOO, so fulfilling...got a free packet of fries...hahaha
ActionCity next on the list and I went to POA(suddenly rmb I had a mission in mind), but there was nothing that fit the bill and I went back to look for the girls at ActionCity and bought a birthday card for someone(you know who you are..)
And they bought more toys! Haha...Kid in an adult's clothing.
Too much details about my day, so I shall just summarize what I bought and got at PS...
1) A sweater that I had always aimed at G2000 and I was also spurred on by them to try out the jacket that I like and I like it even more after I tried it...so nice! But it's a freaking $159! Out of budget!
2) I got my XMAS present for the year! A Gola bag that comes with 30% off the tag if we pay by NETS. HAHA, they wanted to buy for me when it was XMAS time, but since it came with 30%, I dun really mind not having a Xmas present during that period...hahaha
My new bag!!!
3) 2 pairs of ankle socks from Daiso...hehe..which took me a whole 10mins standing in front of the socks section choosing designs..hahaha
Of course, rong and shuang bought stuffs too...
Rong bought some rings from Spotlight and we also got to find out that her latest craze is sth almost like knitting(similar, but I dunno how to spell...haha), so we concluded that we will be getting knitted sweaters for xmas this year, with the exception of me...hahaha
At about 9, we headed for Mind's Cafe to try our luck for a table, and we kinda used up our luck for the day, coz no table! But we did buy a T-shirt each at the ARCES exhibition at the open space outside PS. Support ACRES!
Oops, so we decided to head home...
Shuang and rong couldnt resist not looking at the 扭蛋机 and thus we ended up at the arcade...haha.
And there was this guy that was soooooooooo coool!!!!
He was playing Drum Mania and he was damn goood!!! And at the other end was a man who was playing the Parapara, who did the dance effortlessly..haha his moves din come with any strength and it was funny the way he did it...hahaha
Anw, just when we thought our day has ended, some guy on the train vomitted!
I spotted him only when I saw a plastic bag on the floor (I am constantly on the lookout for suspicious looking bags. Hee)
He vomitted in the train and then ON the train. He was supporting on the train when the train was at some station, he went out and started vomitted onto the tracks, so naturally, the train's body will kena the vomit too...Yucks...
Then, he got back onto the train and started vomitting into the bag(the suspicious looking bag I mentioned just now.) I wanted to offer him tissue, but one uncle was faster then me, he gave him a bigger bag and tissue paper...and pple started moving away from him, coz the fluids started moving ard the train...
EEEKS!
Just when we thought the smell of the vomit was the worst, the guy left the bigger plastic bag with his watery vomit(untied) on the train! OMG! So inconsiderate...what if the fluids in the bag starts flowing out?
Disgusted!
Well, so this ends my day.
Now I am very satisfied with all my buys, though my mum dont really like my bag. Haha. She thinks it's ugly. But I like!
Oh!And I dunno why the 3 of us are so dehydrated today.
