Cloverfield

It's my WORST MOVIE EVER!
It sucks big time, though there's a satisfactory storyline, but the whole filming sucks.

I am still suffering from the aftermath of the show.
Almost puked during the movie.
It's so bad I was closing my eyes at scenes when the man holding the videocamera is turning around,or zooming in and out...*PUKES*

IT'S REALLY REALLY BAD.

When Jax warned me about the movie, I thought it was the story.
So I went with Huishan to watch, despite the bad reviews that Simin and Jax mentioned.

And I think we totally regretted that decision.

It's like a whole 85 mins of watching a stupid guy with the cam glued to his hands.
Wherever he goes, whatever he does, he's holding the cam.

Oh, and I would like to correct.
It's not a thriller. It should be a MYSTERY.
Throughout the whole movie, you see the MONSTER like less than 5 times.
And you cant even get a clear image of it.
So the biggest mystery of the whole movie is...HOW EXACTLY DOES THAT MONSTER LOOK LIKE?

Next...
I really would want to know the brand of the videocamera used to film the show.
It's damn durable.
WHY?

Got attacked by the little creatures - SURVIVED.
Fell together with a falling helicopter - SURVIVED.
Got bitten by the monster - SURVIVED.
Got crashed by all the stones when the US Army bombed Manhanttan city - SURVIVED(and that's why we got this stupid movie).

IT'S BAD.
IT'S HORRIBLE.
IT'S A TOTAL WASTE OF YOUR PRECIOUS SGD.
IT'S LIKE MIXING BLAIR WITCH PROJECT AND GOZILLA.

AND....

IT'S DIRECTED.
Why do you need a director when it's just some stupid guy holding the HAND HELD videocamera throughout with no editing done (Yup, except for the ocassional flashbacks which are damn irritating).

THIS MOVIE TOTALLY BLEW MY MIND OFF.
IT'S SO BAD, I ACTUALLY FELT LIKE BLOWING MY MIND OFF.

So here's my review of this movie whose poster looks like the replica of my ALL TIME FAVE - THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW.

My darlings just went for their new year cut yesterday(Finally! They are starting to stink up the house...)

Yup, 2 girls...As usual, Elmo looks like a girl AGAIN.

This's Miss Elmo...it's supposed to be a lookalike of Missy's auntie's dog, Stitch..But he doesnt look a teeny weeny bit like him...boooooo
His body is kinda shaved, and now he looks like a skinny monkey..his ET look again, so hopefully, the hair will grow a bit by new year...he really looks like a girl...

And this is my ever-so-pretty Miss Twinkle...I think she's really learning to smile...dont you think so...compare her previous pictures,where she always show black face...

And it simply means, she's loving it at my house! Heeeheee

In view of my future, I went with Linda darling to the JobsDB career expo today...
And took many many post-its pads, and now I have tons of them...

And this is my specialised tag!

Apparently now they dont like to use cliche words like Main Sponsor.
So they classify them like this:-
Diamond Sponsor, Platinum Sponsor and Gold sponsor...How lame...
But nevertheless, the Diamond sponsor,PSA gave a really cool gift.

Any use for it?
Except to use for mahjong and monopoly...hahahaha

Oh and I found out something about Linda...
She has this misconception about G2000 and Giordano...Lucky I corrected her...haha
She thinks that the G in G2000 is a short form for Giordano, so she always thought that G2000 = Giordano2000!
Hahaha...As I said, this is going on my blog...

After the fair, I went to meet my dad at Causeway Point to see some HK stars...hahaha

Why did the DOme get it?

Seriously, I prefer THE HORSESHOE....
It gives the audiences a great view of the Kallang Basin....
Even the name sounds cool...

DOME is like....Erm...Tokyo Dome, Nagoya Dome...
EVERYWHERE....

To someone out there...

Just read someone's blog and realised he's not really the happy guy as he used to be anymore. There seems to be a lot of things that is bothering him and apparently, there are many issues that he hopes to take under his control but yet he is not able to control.

What I would like to say is that...

In this world, there are many different types of people. You are one of your kind. If you are changing yourself because of someone else's actions, then you will not be what you used to be anymore. Working is the same. You have your own style, but not everyone will know your style. Perhaps communication helps?
I really hope to see you wear that smile on your face again.
Seriously, I dont see that spark in you recently. You looked really weary and drained out. I can always lend you my listening ear...You know the number.
Just let me know if you need someone to talk to and I promise to drop all things on hand to listen...hurhur...
Of course, you know that address too...(I know the barking's crazy.)

Relationships may be a big part of life, but it's not all.There's still someone that you and I both know very well. I know she would definitely wanna see you excel in life and remain the happy boy as always and that's the best present for her in the entire world.

After all that's being said....
I hope you know who you are and date me out if you need someone to talk to.

Happy Birthday Qiuyun!

So sorry for the late post....coz I am lazy to resize the pictures...hehe...

Anyway, had a great dinner at Hip Diner by Billy Bombers at Cineleisure...
Not exactly coz of the food, but coz of the company...Really had a good laugh and had a great time....

My poor dogs...

Poor Mr Elmo's got a swollen anal gland and he has to has his butt area shaved to hasten the healing process....So poor thing!

On top of that, he has to wear the e-collar...and I can tell that he is sad from wearing it...and he is not used to it at all...
This poor boy dont even dare to walk with the e-collar on, he will only sit there and not move and look at you with his teary eyes...sobbzzzz

And he's got a whole lot of medications to take....and he hates the e-collar, coz he struggled to remove it the moment he left the room and I had to carry him and now, the big boy has to be carried everywhere whenever he has his e-collar on.

Poor Twinkle went for her annual booster today...she was okay when the vet jabbed, but she jumped up when the vet took the syringe out...think it must be very painful, coz she jumped onto me...and hung on to me like a baby...awwwwwwwwwww
Oh, and this timid girl was trembling the moment she entered the vet's room...cute but so ke-lian....

Somehow, she only felt the pain after we got home...she was screaming in pain when Daddy carried her out of the car...screaming really loudly and damn high-pitched...think she's quite tramatised by the jab...

She was so scared that she didnt even respond to 'Biscuit' and was hiding all the way in my room and cooping in one corner...

First time ever, the 2 of them stayed in my room even when me and my mum was shouting 'Go out' and 'Biscuit' in the living room...they didnt even move an inch....
Must be very tramatising for them....MY POOR DOGS...

Hope they get well soon!
By the way, Elmo has to go back for another appointment to clear the remaining anal fluid in the anal gland, coz the fluid has hardened right now and cannot be squeezed out...It is so hard that it feels like a tumour, or growth on his butt...

Deborah and Fabian's Wedding @ Hilltop Garden Restuarant

It was a fun night with so many of our classmates looking really different from our sec sch days...
And Deb is soooooooo pretty and radiant...
No one managed to steal her limelight...hahaha....

After the dinner, we decided to head for KTV, coz most of us got high by either the wine or by the songs that were played during the dinner...so we squeezed 7 of us into Kheng's car and all of us had to bear with extreme numbness throughout the ride, but it was damn fun!!!
Been a long time since we last had this kind of experience...
Hahaha, but too bad, Partyworld closes at 1am...Saddens....
Nevertheless, we still had Mahjong till 2am at Chew Theng's place!
